< radio is making a popping noise when I start my truck >
Is it a single pop or is it a continued repetition of pops? When I power on my stereo – or any amplifier, for that matter – the speakers make a pop as the current hits the coils and they move from rest position to center position on the carrier wave. Carrier wave isn't exactly the terminology, but it's close; it's the constant signal which fluctuates to move the speaker each direction.
