How do I know if the seller is legitimate if he has no sales? I am looking a boat I can go pick up but I'm worried the seller is trying to scam, they haven't scammed me yet. Do shady sellers steal deposits?

Anything is possible - is the boat listed right here on ebay.com and not on any other site (Facebook, etc) claiming it will be handled through eBay?
