State Sales Tax
The Missouri Dept of Revenue is requiring that I pay sales tax for Ebay sales made 2021 and 2022. I would think that lots of sales are made for resale and not for the end consumer. Can a Ebay Buyer be tax exempt if they are in the business of reselling items purchased on EBay? How can I get my 1099 forms for 20 21 and 2022? Thank you SO much!

eBay did not start collecting MO sales tax until 2023, so you were responsible for the tax collection prior to that.
To claim any of your sales were for resale, you would have needed to get a resale certificate from the buyer. eBay does this, but would not have done so for MO in 21 and 22, since they were not collecting the tax.
