start an ebay case for an item that hasn't even been sent

Hey guys, I bought an item on September the 01st, 2023.

But just now the seller is telling me to start a claim on Ebay. It was 90 USD. I don't know where or how to start. The item is not even shown to start a claim... Ebay has become more and more frustrating, no human contact, no phone number to reach... nothing.

I am seriously thinking of leaving Ebay.

Hello lato-cl2014,

eBay has a 30-day Money Back Guarantee. You would have been protected by eBay as a Buyer for 30 days after your purchase. In some cases, you would have had the option to file a claim with your bank/credit card, but that deadline has mostly likely passed as well. You could check with them to find out if you could still file a claim for item not received. Normally they allow 180 days and it is past that.

@lato-cl2014 Ebay has a 30 day Money Back Guarantee. You are past the deadline to file a Refund Request unfortunately. Paypal and most credit cards allow 180 days to dispute the charge. No reason to "leave Ebay" over this since Ebay did nothing wrong.
