The cutoff score was 4.8 or 4.7. I think it’s because eBay used to downgrade sellers because of their Star Ratings. The cutoff score was 4.8 or 4.7.
Sellers wanted buyers to know that leaving a ‘4’ was considered a ‘Fail’ … which was counterintuitive to buyers.
eBay no longer uses StarRatings to penalize sellers … but some habits take long to break.
