    SSN as seller?
                     

    I haven’t sold anything on eBay for years. I was shocked to find PayPal is no longer accepted and that I have to give  banking  info and SSN…..Is there any other options as a seller.

    Hi @jrcsbeam 

     

    The change of payment processors took place back in June 2021. You are required to supply your checking account and SSN so eBay can process your payments. (You'd have to do the same with PayPal if they were still the payment processor.)

     

    There are close to 18 million sellers on eBay, and all have had to provide the same information.
