Spraying Perfume on Clothing
To Sellers of clothing ;
PLEASE do not spray Febreeze, Petfume or Laundry sheets etc on Clothing … it is wrong to not describe item as perfumed, esp Brand New items . I received a Silk blouse today that I could smell before opening - now have a headache bc it is so strong of a fragrance .. I feel like reporting as
“Not as Described†bc it is so offensive . Perfumed does not equal fresh or clean!!! You are offending Buyers as well as sabotaging your Sales ( Self)
consider others .
can anyone explain this rationale ?
it stinks & I have items that can’t be worn or returned bc smell persists after washing . Silk - who wants to have to hand wash them dry clean ??? I always wash used clothing anyhow but often one wash doesn’t work .. so a cashmere sweater & a silk blouse, both beautiful & NWT that I love - both ruined by strong fragrance !

& read about those allergic or anti toxic chemical sprays .
have to go take Tylenol for headache 🤕 now !
& submit returns for two beautiful items I love ..

Mentor3 years agoI agree with you 100% but the odds of the offending sellers seeing your message here is almost nil. You might consider sending the seller a message to ask before you buy...
