Sponsored inserts on the main page of my ad.
I have a promoted ad for a PC and directly under my payment options is this:
This insertion is showing directly under my promoted ad for a PC! Not for nothing, I feel like I'm being targeted here by both eBay and this seller. This is totally an unfair practice given the fact that I'm paying extra to have the ad promoted. Worse, I can't find any contact to complain to at eBay. I'm used to the listings inserted farther down the page, I get that, but to have this in plain sight on the front of my ad is infuriating. Additionally, it isn't accurate because the PC that's advertised is an inferior one. Has this happened to anyone else?

OP1 year agoI haven't had this happen before. I've been selling on eBay for 20 years, and it just gets harder and harder. I'm not happy at all! I don't see any listings in your store.

Personally, when I'm shopping as a buyer, I don't look at ANY of the ads that eBay displays on an item listing - I only look at the details for the item I selected to view. I suspect that is how many buyers shop.
As a seller, my items are temporarily on Time Away which is why you can't see them.

You are not being targeted. eBay places ads on everyone's listings. The seller of the item in question has no knowledge of it, much less any way to place ads on your listings.
