Special Treatment for Chinese & Other Large Companies False Advertising/Selling
Why do large companies get preferential treatment not available to small companies? For example, selling fake Parker Sonnet fountain pens, hand over fist for $25 from China? Or, fake Lab Grown Diamonds, 5 Carats for only $60 from India that are actually Moisonnite or even CZ? True wholesale price of genuine lab diamonds in $170-220 per carat. Add a few bucks for setting and a one carat sterling ring should be only $350 for one carat lab grown, real diamond. I wish I could misrepresent, but I just don't have enough sales to misrepresent. It's crony capitalism and not fair. Also, Ebay overcharges sellers anyway. If you add all the fees, extra final value fees, sales tax in 50% of cases where states don't charge so seller's state picks up tab, paper, ink, store costs, lost mail, etc, Ebay is a Charity with only owners benefiting, never small fries, unless they buy close outs for a nickel--only then is money made, and of course China.

Somehow I have the feeling that you wouldn't misrepresent even if your sales were multiplied tenfold. I wish I had some wisdom or magic that would eliminate the fakers and cheaters. At least it sounds like you've got a handle on how to be cautious and what to avoid. In the words of Lone Watie, we can only endeavor to persevere.
