We recently learned that many of the links we post to Request a call back are now simply forwarding members to eBay's Customer Service "How can we help you today?" page (link below). On that page members have to complete numerous choices before being given ways to be in direct contact with eBay. Depending on the subject, representative availability and other factors requesting a call back may or may not be possible. Chat or an email may be provided. If you get a Chat box Type “AGENT in the box. You can also contact eBay through Social Media if you have accounts there.
I have been a seller for 16 years and I know the steps required to get an agent.
I already tried the correct steps but I still get the same message saying the problem will shortly be fixed and I have been getting this message all week right before Christmas, during and now after.

"speaking to an agent" has changed. If live human phone support is available for a particular subject and during a time live support is available it will be an option but if it is not then the other methods suggested will need to be pursued.
We used to have a nice "Have us call you" link to provide to members, that no longer exists as mentioned in my post up thread. We also know that live phone support is not always as accurate or helpful as it once was.
