What's with the stupid popup on every single page? Seeing the announcement once is cute. Annoying; but, cute. I guess I have to wait for this rediculous promotion to finish so that I can come back and spend my money here. UX rulz. Way to **bleep** off the people that pay you.

Perhaps if you actually explain what you are seeing someone may be able offer a suggestion.
I don't recall seeing any popups on eBay for any promotions, and certainly not any on "every single page".

Can you post a screenshot of the popup you're seeing? As I wrote before, I never get pop-ups on eBay (unless it's part of a regular action I'm taking, such as completing checkout for a purchase or a selling activity).
It sounds like this is an off-site ad that happens to be popping up on eBay rather than coming from eBay...which points to your pop-up blocker as being the culprit.

I never see popups on eBay pages unless it's related to an action I've taken on the page. Do you have your popup blocker turned on in your browser settings?

OP2 years agoI do have my popup blocker enabled. What a good idea. Just didn't apply here.
What I needed to do was wait until the promotion that ebay had going had expired. Well... until the next time ebay tries to sell me something. Do you ever get the feeling that the users are the product being sold here?
