Something strange going on with some sellers
I'm an Ebay buyer. I dont sell on Ebay, yet. I have 100% positive feedback from 46 sellers. I'm generous with my reviews of sellers. Unfortunately, I have had to leave a couple of negative reviews of sellers. I understand that sellers can see all the reviews that I have left of other sellers. Lately I have had some strange encounters with sellers. One seller, for no known reason has blocked me from even offering to buy or bid. Another seller, I bought from , but then zero response to my messages, item never shipped. That transaction eventually cancelled and refunded, zero communication from seller. Now a 3rd experience is going on. I won a bid on an item 3 days ago. Im getting no response from the seller, item not shipped yet. Thats ok if not shipped yet, but I already have an odd feeling about this one. Is this what happens sometimes on Ebay? Do sellers sometimes shut you out because you left a negative review on another seller? I dont think its right that sellers see my reviews of other sellers. They dont get the whole story or the reason behind the neg. review. What do you think ?

There are many reasons why a seller might have blocked you, or might not communicate or might not ship an item you have purchased. Negative feedback you have left for other sellers is one possible thing that sellers might look at, but it is hardly the only thing that can cause a transaction to conclude unsuccessfully. A transaction can fail for reasons that have nothing to do with you.
A feedback comment is a snapshot of a transaction from one point of view; no one reading the feedback comment has the full context.
