Something about Multiplying size of large boxes to get correct postage

Question

Hi friends,I have  a large box:  31 x 16 x 18It weighs 5 pounds I remember I have to get insurance on it bc it has a value of greater than $100.00I have to get signature required.And I have to multiply the dimensions of the box plus something else to see if it is over a certain number? I can't seem to find my old messages which has the answer to this..Thanks for helping.. Linda
