Someone stole photos from my ebay
I shipped an item internationally and ebay said it couldn't be delivered. They refunded my money, but didn't know what happened to the item. Today I'm on ebay and I see the item listed by someone else, and they're using my pictures that I took for selling it. What to do?

OP1 year agoI understand that, but the fact remains they're using my pictures and info. They should have made they're own.

What should I do if my image, video or text is being used by another seller?
When you create listings you give eBay and its customers permission, through our User Agreement, to use your images, videos and product details.

When you click into the Full Policy, it says that the other seller should have got permission to use the pictures. These two ideas seem contradictory to me, unless it's explained/modified by the later reference to VeRO. I believe a more explicit wording of the policy would be helpful.

Mentor1 year agoDid you ship through the eBay International Shipping Program or directly to the buyer? If through the EIS, if an item cannot be delivered the EIS makes the buyer and seller whole and then sells the item to recover what they paid out. So this may be a listing by the EIS selling the item and using information from your listing.
