Someone claiming to be the seller messaged my phone with pictures of an item i purchased
Someone claiming to be the seller contacted me on my cell phone about an item I had purchased with pictures of said item asking if it looked alright why wouldn't they just message me on ebay and how do they have my personal info
What. Should I do as this made me extremely uncomfortableÂ

·2 years agoHi @rodkri-30 Your phone number is included in the order details for the seller because some shipping carriers require it. But normally there shouldn't be any reason for the seller to call you. Send the seller a message through eBay telling them the call made you uncomfortable, and to only contact you through eBay messages.
