eBay just notified me that a customer has an account issue and asked me to cancel the order. Unfortunately it's already shipped based on them having been marked as paid. What does this mean

Generally that message also says that the payment will not be reversed since you may have already shipped. So there is nothing that you need to do unless eBay asks for information.
