Sold item, printed mailing label but don't think it will ship
I sold a jacket and the mailing label I paid for and printed states the item weighs 1oz. The item in fact weighs 5lbs. Will it ship still or how to I fix this? I'm guessing if it doesn't ship I won't get paid. What do I do?

Mentor1 year agoYou will need to cancel that label and then print a new one after adjusting the weight and dimensions of the package. Please be aware that the USPS will need to see that the original label was not used which will take 21 days.

You'll want to void the first label and print a correct label
Here's how to cancel (or void) a shipping label you purchased on eBay:
- Go to Manage shipping labels: https://www.ebay.com/ship/lmng/labels-history/my-ebay
- Find the item you'd like to cancel the shipping label for, then from the Actions column, select CANCEL.
- Choose your reason for canceling the label.
- Select Cancel (or Void) shipping label.
You have 28 days to cancel a label. The refund will come about 21 days after you cancel.
Then, you can print another label:
1) Go to the order https://www.ebay.com/mys/sold
2) Select View Order Details, then Print Another Label <<==
3) Enter the correct weight and dimensions for your package and select Shipping Method and the correct label will print.
