Sold item came back saying return to sender
I mailed out the item as soon as it sold. The label was printed directly from eBay's platform, so I suppose the buyer's address was correct. Today, the package was returned to me, unopened, with a sticker from the post office on it, saying return to sender. How do I handle this? Thanks

OP8 months agoThank you for your answer. Do I contact them and ask why they refused the shipment? Also, do you refund them the money minus the ebay fees, or will ebay refund me the fees? Thanks

Mentor8 months agoIf a buyer returns the package to the seller without accepting the delivery they lose their Money Back Guaranty protection. So although you technically do not have to refund them you really cannot keep the item and the money. So I would just make the refund to them keeping the shipping charge if you had them pay for shipping.
