Sold item-Buyer wants refund
I sold an item and purchased the shipping label through EBAY. The buyer contacted me and sent a screenshot of the shipping info stating “This is not my address and I want a refund for my item if I'm not going to receive itâ€..
Why would the EBAY generated shipping label have the wrong shipping address? I’m puzzled .
thanks

Mentor2 years agoThe BUYER is responsible for keeping their SHIP TO address up to date. ebay sends the seller the SHIP TO address that is supplied. Let the buyer know you will file a Cancellation for Problem with buyer's address, and advise the buyer to update his/her address here:
https://accountsettings.ebay.com/uas/addresses
You will now need to VOID the label.
Go to Seller Hub > Orders > Shipping labels
Locate the label. Click the down-arrow, select VOID. The USPS will credit your account in 2-3 weeks after they have confirmed the label was never used. You can now use the same link to Print Another Label, and this time make the appropriate corrections for the package.

OP2 years agoThank you however I have already shipped the item to the address which printed on the shipping label the day the buyer paid for it.
