Sold item; buyer received item. Ebay will not release funds in my account

Question

I sold gift card. I checked with the store and they confirmed the card has been used to make a purchase. Ebay tells me the card has not been received, and refuses to release funds in my account. I am waiting to hear from buyer

Did you ship it with a tracking number, if so is the tracking number on the order?

If the tracking number is on the order and the carrier's site shows delivered but eBya has not updated the status yet it will soon. eBay status is not real time and it can take a day to sync.

If you did not ship with tracking then you will not have proof of delivery and will have to wait the full hold time for the payment to be released as long as the buyer does not make a refund claim.
