Sold item appears to be lost via usps
Good morning,
I have a buyer who just sent me a message about a jacket that was sold on Nov 23, 2023, and I shipped it the next day. The tracking has it somewhere in Colorado where the buyer lives.
Order #10-10835-81119
Tracking USPS 9434608205499510533202
Am I going to lose the money that he paid me? I don't see this as being my fault in any way. I gave the buyer a USPS phone # to call and he said he would call USPS.
I have only been selling for 10 months or so and have never had this occur. Can anyone shed some light on my situation, please?
I appreciate your help
Carol

If the buyer's estimated date of delivery has passed, and they file a Refund Request, you will be required to refund the buyer in full.
File a lost package inquiry with USPS:

If it is lost you can file a claim if the package was insured:

OP2 years agoThank you so much for the links you provided. I thought if we used eBay shipping label the item would be insured for up to $100.
