sold item
why is the subtotal price less than the actual listed price? It states my order earnings are $152.56. The difference is $81.93?!!! That seems very excessive. How are they taking so much?

That sounds frustrating.
It looks to me like your item sold for $211.04
$211.04 + 18.73 = 229.77
$229.77
- 18.73 Sales Tax added and deducted
- 27.28 selling costs (FVF)
- 8.22 shipping label you bought
- 22.98 promoted listing fee
= 152.56

I don't know for sure why it sold for $211.04 instead of $234.49 which is a 10% discount.
Did you have a sale?
Did you have a auto accept amount?
If none of the above apply, it's likely that "Automatic" best offers were on.
You can find the listings with Automatic offers on here
https://www.ebay.com/sh/mktv2/offers
Click the boxes beside the offers you want to end
Click End in the upper right (it appears after you have selected one or more listings)
Check any future offers you send to confirm the switch is OFF as shown here:
Once you have de-selected sending offer automatically a few times, it will "stick" and work on the offers sent by phone app too.
