Sold Item
On one of my products a client bided and when the bid ended it says the product said Sold,
but i have not yet received the funds for it! What does that mean?

·1 year agoEither the buyer hasn't paid yet, or s/he has paid but eBay is still processing and/or holding the funds. Check the details on your list of sold items, e.g. in your Seller Hub or My eBay: Selling.
If s/he hasn't paid: The buyer has 4 calendar days to pay. After the 5th midnight (Pacific Time) go to your list of sold items (e.g. in the Seller Hub or My eBay: Selling) and on the more actions for that transaction, click to cancel the transaction then choose the non-payment option (which doesn't display there until the 4 days has completely passed). This clears the status of the transaction, protects you from negative feedback, and gives the buyer a strike (eBay no longer uses that word but it's more descriptive than "unpaid cancellation record") that counts toward the block of serial non-payers (strictest setting: 2 in the past 12 months) that sellers can set in their Buyer Requirements. It also can affect their buying limits.
If s/he has paid: eBay takes time to transfer the funds even if they are not being held. You are a new seller and your funds almost certainly will be held until some time after tracking shows the item was delivered to the buyer, to keep scammers from setting up a new selling account, making sales, and absconding with the money without shipping the item, leaving eBay to refund the buyer under the Money Back Guarantee. You would also need to check if you have properly set up a way for eBay to pay you.
