Sold but no funds yet. Funds on hold
I sold a piece of jewelry on July ,11. It sold for $1300.00. The funds are still on "hold" but the buyer is getting upset because I have not shipped it yet. I bought a prepaid label for the package and sent both the buyer and eBay the tracking number. They want me to send it before the funds are in my account. Any resolves?
Thank you. Flyingcrown-ranch

Mentor2 years agoeBay policy is to hold the funds for all purchases over $1,000 for 30 days no matter the status of the seller. So not sending the item will cause you problems with both eBay and the buyer. The buyer will open an "Item not received" case and your excuse for not sending the item will not be accepted by eBay. You will receive at least a defect on your account if not something more serious.

Is there a reason you are not shipping your Buyer's purchase??
Sending the Buyer and eBay the tracking number without shipping it is only going to cause issues for you with both. The Buyer can open an Item Not Received claim. eBay will put a defect on your account for not shipping on time.
When a Seller's funds are on hold, eBay always releases enough of that held money to purchase a shipping label.
