sold and shipped item, never made it out of the international hub
hi, I shipped an item and it went to the int hub in Miami but the trail went dead since 2/5.
What usually happens next? Is the hub responsible since they last had it?

Please check the tracking history on the item you shipped and confirm here that it was delivered to the address in Miami.
While it is possible eBay has opened another hub the one in Illinois is the only one I am aware of.
My experience is that shipments to foreign Buyers going through Miami, FL is that those are forwarding companies and you are only responsible to ship to THAT address. The foreign Buyers pay those companies to ship items to them. On a return same thing, you are responsible for just the US address, if and how the Buyer gets the item back to the forwarding company for a return is their problem, not yours.

You are more than welcome ... I have shipped a number of items to different Miami addresses for Buyers in Latin American countries ... the only thing you have to watch is to make sure delivery to the Miami address is confirmed through eBay tracking.
