Sold an item with a closed bank account
Hello, I recently sold an item and realized I didn't update my bank info prior to the sale. The bank account on file and has been clsoed. I just updated my bank info with a different bank.
eBay indicares i can go ahead and ship the item but I am concerned that I may not receive payment.

If you went through the process to update your banking information and did not have any issues then I suspect you will not have issues receiving a Payout when your funds become available.
Since your account is a low activity selling account (3 items sold int he last 90 days) then your funds may be on hold for up to 31 days: Transaction holds | eBay

OP1 week agoHello Mr. Lincoln. I hope you are right. I appreciate the reply. I had no issues adding the new bank account and dropping the old account.
In prior sales when I receive the funds sent to my bank they are usually available in a couple fo days.
