Sold an item but didn’t receive sufficient funds to mail it internationally
Hey guys,
I wrote this with the intent of sending it to eBay directly, but apparently that’s not possible. Any advice is appreciated. I’m going to seek to speak with these eBay b@stards one way or another. Thanks!
I used the eBay feature of scanning a barcode to choose a previously sold item so as to save me time filling in the specification information.
But the sale went to someone halfway around the world and when it sold they paid approximately $4 in shipping fees.
Can you please explain how that math was calculated by eBay for an item with a barcode? Which should have the specification, weight, size etc. from the information in the barcode?
It’s over $100 for the item to be shipped. Please explain how the math was calculated by EBay and what I should do next as I’ve never been in this situation before.
Thanks,
Emily

Whenever you use another Sellers listing (Sell similar) or anything eBay provides like AI description or what other items sold and shipped for it is still your responsibility to double check ALL settings and ALL information supplied in the Description, Conditions and Item Specifics. The listing, at the end of the day is yours, you own it.
I know that is not the answer you want to hear but it is the reality of how the venue works.
