Sold a Washing Machine

Question

I recently sold a Washing machine. I had explicitly mentioned that it was for local pickup only, and shipping was not possible. The buyer completed the purchase, made the payment, but has not picked up the item yet. It has been more than one and a half months. What should I do? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you messaged them and tried to arrange the pickup with them (and yes, on a Local Pickup sale you can exchange contact info like phone number, email address, pick up location address) and they purchased through eBay they are outside their 30 day eBay Money Back Guarantee window. Meaning they cannot file for a refund through eBay. They would be forced to file a dispute with their funding source if they asked for a refund this long after the sale and you declined.

You can certainly try Cancelling the transaction via the drop down menu and using the reason "Problem with address" to avoid a strike on your account. If you can successfully cancel then you can Relist it as I am sure you want to get it off your property. You can then add them to your blocked list on this page: Buyer management | eBay
