Sold a pair of used shoes, that I had listed as non returnable.....buyer is trying to return
I sold a pair of shoes listed clearly as used and had it as a non-return item, I had many pictures showing what the shoes looked like. The buyer is now trying to return them because they have a "horrible smell" and that was mentioned in the listing.
These shoes do not have a horrible smell and are clearly used shoes, I have many pictures showing what they look like and the seller should know they are not receiving perfect shoes. Their sense of smell may be way more sensitive then others but its not quite fair for me to have to accept the return. I have a 100% seller feedback and always list everything clearly and honestly. If there were some unusual smell I would have noted it! I think this is a one sided argument, do I have to accept this return?

Mentor2 years agoIf the buyer opened an "Item not as described" case then you must take the return, send a prepaid return label and make a full refund. If you do not then eBay will allow the buyer to keep the shoes and force a full refund from you and you will not get the Final Value Fee back.
Buyers have a Money Back Guaranty for 30 days from receipt of the item to make this claim and your no returns policy does not override this eBay guaranty.
