Sold a a brand name item that appears to counterfeit
I purchased "revlon" tweezers from an ebay seller recently that are not of the quality i would typically associate with the brand. I suspect that they're counterfeit. However, i didn't bother to return them to the seller because the return shipping was only a few cents shy of the amount of the refund. The tweezers arrived appearing to be brand new; that is they were in packaging (typically used for drugstore implements placed on hooks) with the well known revlon graphic. Unfortunately, i didn't save the packaging having no reason to suspect i had not received what i expected. This is the 1st time in over 20 years that i've had such a problem with an ebay purchase. It's not really about the money at this point although i really could use a nice set of tweezers.
I would appreciate the advice of the ebay community. Thank you!

Mentor3 years agoIt is also possible that Revlon changed the quality of their tweezers due to rising costs. I don't think tweezers would be a profitable item to counterfeit.

If you request a refund for a counterfeit you don't have to pay for the return shipping. The seller has to send a return label.
You have 30 days for starting such a request.
