Social security number needed in order to get paid
eBay messaged me that they needed my social security number in order to get paid. I went to fill it out but the number is already there in my account. I tried to edit the number in case it was incomplete but eBay won’t let me edit it. I tried finding a live eBay contact but get taken in circles. Can anyone advise me?

Mentor1 month agoYou will need to contact customer service. You can contact customer service using this link and ask for a call back: eBay Customer Service Customer service is open from 5am to 9pm Pacific Time. Unfortunately you will still need to answer the AI bot questions in order to get help. eBay removed our way to get around the questions so you may need to ask for “Agent” several times before the system gets the message and lets you ask for the call back. Please be aware that there are several things that can prevent you from receiving the return call. Some phone service providers have spam filters that will block eBay calls. Also, this can happen if you are using a VOIP phone number from your Internet provider.
