SO WRONG! NO ITEM AND NO REFUND!
I purchased an item that took a week to ship out via FedEx. On the day of delivery I wasn't home BUT FedEx says someone else signed for my package. Someone I DO NOT KNOW.
I have been in contact with the seller, ebay, and FedEx but no one seems to want to help. Each blames it on the other.
The shipper was nice and said they had this happen to them twice and they would send out another one of the items I purchased but now almost a week later, they have not sent anything out and have not responded to any of my messages.
I have contacted FedEx and they say it is the shippers responsibility when in fact it should be their responsibility.
IS there any answer to such a mess?

OP3 years agoThank YOU so much for the reply but I am wondering,,,, Are you saying the seller gave me some false tracking?? They wrote me a message saying the very same thing has happened to other orders they have shipped out.
BTW, somehow I clicked on that this question was solved but of course it has not be resolved at all.

It may not have been intentional -- perhaps the seller switched two tracking numbers, and your package was coincidentally not received due to no fault of the seller; perhaps the package is still on its way. Or perhaps the shipping service made a mistake and actually delivered your package to the wrong address.
If the tracking shows delivery and you did not receive your package, you should check with the shipping service to see if the tracking corresponds to a delivery to your address.

Ask them if it was addressed to you or someone else?

OP3 years agoThe seller had the correct address and someone supposedly signed for it. BUT it wasn't me.

Did FedEx deliver the package to the address you gave or did they deliver it somewhere else?
