Sniper buyer cancels his bid after auction ended
I had an item for sale with 3 bids and 11 watchers. last minute a guy bid and won the auction (sniped). Then right away (with the auction being completed) he put in for a cancellation saying he bid in error. I tried contacting the next highest bidder for a 2nd chance offer but he didn't chose to do. What now, I have to restart my auction because the sniper did this to me and backed out? Help please.

Mentor11 months agoIf you agreed to the buyer's cancellation request, you can relist. You might have been given the option when you agreed to the cancellation request.

OP11 months agoI didn't agree to it (yet), as I had bidders who were going to buy this and this guy came in and messed everything up. I was hopping to see if there were other options for me here in this forum.

Mentor11 months agoIf the buyer wants to cancel...you either do so "at buyer's request" or you can wait 4 days and cancel due to "buyer didn't pay". Either way, you can relist after the cancellation goes through.
