Shouldn't sellers be required to list if item is from a "Smoke" home? I recently ordered items from a seller and they arrived completely stinking of cigarette smoke! Now that smell is in my house, my nose and everywhere I layed the items! Absolutely disgusting! Worse, seller doesn't accept refunds. I'm so mad and disappointed. I quit smoking 17 years ago--so I get it--but to sell items that smell so disgusting without notifying the buyer is absolutely rude and unfair!

Mentor1 month agoIn the future, I reccommend asking your seller if the item is from a smoking home. Since sellers are not required to disclose this, the seller did not really do anything wrong. Always best to ask in advance if you are sensitive to smells.

Mentor1 month agoSorry this happened but eBay does not require sellers to do this. However, since the seller did not mention this in the listing you can say it is not as described. You have 30 days from the date of delivery to open an “item not as described case”. This overrides the sellers return policy. Go to your Purchase History and find the item. Then under “More actions” click on “Return item” and then select the reason for the return as “doesn't match description". It may ask you to attach a photo so the seller and eBay can see what was received. The seller will need to send you a prepaid return label and once the item is returned they have three days to refund you. After this time has passed you would have to go to your payment source to see what help they can give.
