Single quantity Item sells again after it has already been sold
I have had this happen maybe a dozen or more times since I started selling full-time a little over 2 yrs ago (+9k sales quantity).
Only have a quantity of one on a particular item. After it sells, sometime in the future it sells again without it being listed again. I have heard that it could be a glitch on eBays part that the item quantity doesn't go to zero (settings are set for item to be remove from inventory once it has sold).
So now I have to message buyer and tell them that, but I still get a defect for "out of stock or damaged item".
What do I do?

·2 years agoThat's been going on for years and Ebay doesn't seem to think it's a problem on their side.
All we can do is keep an eye on our listings and catch them before they sell again.
