Single Member LLC eBay Business Account question
Hello everybody!
I have an eBay business account that is registered as a single-member LLC. I started as a business account from the beginning and never had an individual account that transitioned into a business account.
I want to get out of eBay and have my partner run my account. If I transfer ownership of the LLC to someone else, will it be ok with eBay?
I spoke with eBay customer support and got contradicting answers. One person said that it should be all good, as you just update the stakeholder details, and that is it. While another representative said that it is not ok, as according to them, eBay gets your personal information during registration; therefore, it would be considered fraud by eBay.
Anybody who knows/has done this before, please help!
