does ebay charge sales tax in michigan on 99% silver coins?

Mentor3 months agoeBay charges sales tax based upon the laws of the State and delivery location. However, it is dependent on the category the item is listed in. So an item that may not be taxable can be listed in a taxable category by the seller and then tax will be charged. eBay does not charge sales tax based on the actual item only the category the item is listed in.
