Silent seller
So I purchased an item from ebay on the 1st and got a shipping notice the same evening. That was 5 days ago and the post office has still not received the package. I contacted the seller this morning around 8:30 and am still waiting for her to respond to my question. I can't seem to find a phone number for ebay that can connect me to a live agent since my problem isn't listed. What can I do?

Mentor3 years agoThe seller may have shipped without getting an acceptance scan. Or he may have a longer lead time and doesn't ship as often as some other sellers.
Whatever the reason is, you don't need to call eBay.
When it's past the estimated delivery date shown in your Purchase History, you have up to 30 days to use the option next to the transaction to open a case for an item not received. The seller will have 3 business days to prove delivery or refund. If he doesn't, go back to the case on day 4 and use the option to ask eBay to step in. They will force the refund.
