sick sick sick of ebay verification
I am about to quit ebay for good thanks to their extremely annoying i am human "verification"
Will wait until they stop this nuissance

OP6 months agoI have been on ebay for the last 20 years or more. Never ever saw this behavior. I can go to my account, see purchases etc but just checking my cart results in this nuissance. Nothing like this is going on my phone, only on my computer. It was AI that suggested to erase cookies. Ebay built high wall to any resemblance of customer service like any other monster corporation and it is getting worse with useless AI

What are you doing when you encounter those verifications? If the problem happens when using a particular link, which link is it? Perhaps there is an alternative link you can use that works better.
I don't think most users encounter multiple verifications unless they are signing out and erasing eBay cookies. If that is the case, there may be something you can do to minimize running into verification issues.
Are you using a VPN, hotspot or Starlink network? Those can cause issues.
Are you blocking scripts? Blocking cookies?
If you are not doing any of those things, perhaps a corrupt eBay cookie is causing problems. Try another browser to see if that works better. If that helps, try manually erasing your eBay cookies in the original browser just once.

OP6 months agoIt was suggested to erase cookies and i did. It did not prevent verification. So i went thru this
again may be for the last time and found my shopping cart empty! One more reason to abandon
this sinking ship

Are you certain you signed in to the same eBay account on the same site? The reason I ask is that I do not think eBay uses cookies to keep track of cart contents. I can add items to my cart in one browser, sign in to another browser or a private or incognito browser with no cookies or the eBay app, and still see the same items in my cart. The information is stored in the account. No cookies needed.
