showing item as shipped after it was picked up locally

An item i recently sold was listed to be shipped but when it sold, the buyer decided to pick it up. Now I'm getting notifications from ebay to ship my item. How do I show that the buyer has received the item in a timely matter?

You should have cancel the transaction and relisted with the pickup option so buyer had the confirmation code to give you. Now the best you can do is mark shipped without tracking from the drop down menu next to the item, and hope buyer doesn't scam you saying he never received the item.
