Should there be sales tax on usa coins and currency?
I bought a silver eagle coin and I was charged tax for my purchase.
I didn't think that tax was charged on usa coins (minted as one dollar coin)

Each state has legislated its own laws on what is taxed. I know that some states charge tax when a currency is listed for more than its face value … Florida for one.
