Should the seller pay for return shipping if the item is not as described?
Hello everyone,
I would like to ask for advice regarding a recent purchase on eBay.
I live in another country, so I use a forwarding company to receive my orders. I purchased an item (AirPods Pro 3) that was listed and sold as new. However, when I received the product, I noticed several serious issues.
The original retail box of the AirPods (not the outer shipping package) had already been opened and had no factory seals.
The product had been activated about 6 months before I received it.
After checking more carefully, I realized that the item is not original and appears to be fake.
So the item clearly does not match the description and was not sold as advertised.
Now I want to return the item, but here is my main concern.
Since I am located in another country, the return shipping cost is quite expensive. In this situation, who is supposed to pay for the return shipping?
Should the seller cover the return costs because the item is not as described?
Or do I still have to pay for return shipping myself?
I would really appreciate any advice or similar experiences.

The Seller is only required to pay for return shipping from the original delivery address in the Order Details.
