Should I Ship to Freight Forwarding?
I do not ship internationally and my item was purchased by a buyer out of the country. I cancelled the item, explained to the buyer and they are being persistent. Wants me to look at their feedback and wants me to ship to the FF. They did not indicate it was a freight forwarding service when they gave me the address. Help

Mentor2 years agoThe buyer did not give you an international address, he gave you a US address, so you should not have cancelled the transaction. The freight forwarder's address is in the US. The seller's job is to ship to the address the buyer provides. Once the item is scanned as delivered to the freight forwarder, your job is done.
I've been shipping to international buyers through freight forwarders for 19 years and have never had a problem.
I expect the buyer is being persistent because he's never had an eBay seller do this before. But at this point the transaction is cancelled. You can explain that you were unclear on the process but will relist it so he can repurchase it if he would still like the item. You can relist it as an auction with the winning bid price as the starting price, and when the buyer bids, just end the auction and he'll be the winner.
