Should I ship anyway?
I don't know what wizardry one needs to speak to a human at ebay, so I am turning to sellers way more experienced than I.
Item sold and was paid for yesterday. I contacted the buyer with a question, asked that they reply so I would be sure they were aware of issues stated in listing before I ship item. I haven't received a reply, should I ship item anyway? here is the message I sent last night:
"Hi, thank you for your purchase. It is packed and ready to ship out tomorrow. Before I ship it, I want to be sure you had read the following which is in the listing:
"Please go by this description and photos, because the "item specifics" section in "Features" had some incorrect information that I wasn't able to edit, there is a Bulova hang tag, but no papers, note:statement "Fresh Battery, Running Fine" is incorrect and should read "with fresh battery, watch will run fine." Please look at photos for sizes, and don't hesitate to ask me any questions you have. I do not accept returns."
In addition, the first paragraph states NEEDS BATTERY in bold.
Please reply to this message. I just want to know that you are aware of the above information, and that I can go ahead and ship the watch tomorrow Monday 1/5. Thanks, Shellie
Should I contact them again, and what should I say? I have till Wednesday the 7th to ship.
I may be overthinking this, but I just want to cover my butt. All replies will be appreciated! Thanks

Mentor9 months agoYou didn't misread, but if the item specifics don't match the rest of the listing then the buyer can open an INAD case and you will be refunding them and paying to get your item back anyway.
The other reason the blame would fall on buyer which simply isn't true

OP9 months agoThanks for the quick reply. I apologize if I read you answer wrong (I'm old and at times very dense), my feeling is the watch does fit the description in the listing, the battery is mentioned more than once. I only messaged buyer to be sure they read the listing description all the way through. Also, how can I say "Out Of Stock" when I already told buyer item was packed and ready to ship? If I cancel sale, even having the reason fall on me, isn't there a chance that buyer will leave a negative feedback? I did not know that you can't say no returns, thank you for letting me know.

Mentor9 months agoI'd cancel with a reason that falls on you and not the buyer. Out of Stock as you cannot send it due to it not fitting the description.
Also know your statement of No Returns is false.
