Should I refuse delivery?
My son left yesterday to go to the Philippines to propose to his girlfriend. He ordered an engagement ring, and the seller guaranteed that the ring would arrive before my son had to leave the country. The ring did not arrive in time, and my son had to leave without it. He will, of course, be requesting a refund, but he is now out of the country for a month. Should I refuse delivery of the ring when it arrives?

Mentor2 years ago@daryoung Congratulations to your son. Do NOT refuse the delivery or the seller is not required to refund you. Your sons rights as a buyer depend on a few things such as the sellers return policy. Did the ring arrive by the LAST estimated delivery date on the listing, not what the seller said in a message? From the eBay Policy>

Never expect an item sooner than the last estimated delivery date and I recommend allowing a few extra days past that as sellers can't control postal service delays.
