Should I proceed with a sale
Hello all. So I sold an item. The buyer has been a member since 2006. He has 45 stars. Mix of buying and selling. Only 1 feedback in the last year. I messaged him several days ago as well as yesterday just to make sure his address on file is correct and ask him if he can accept signature required for extra assurance as the item is not cheap. He has not replied to any attempt of communication in 4 days. Is this normal and safe? The address does match his name in google, it is not a remailer service. Just think it is strange to make a several hundred dollar purchase and ignore the sellers communication. Thanks.

Mentor3 years agoIt's nice that you want to confirm his/her address since s/he has not had any recent feedback, but it is up to the buyer to keep his/her SHIP TO address up to date. The buyer sees the SHIP TO address on file before completing the payment, so has a chance to change it then. Signature required is not a requirement unless that item is priced at $750 or higher, but it is good to give the buyer a heads up if you are going to use that as the buyer may not be home due to working full time.
