Shippping to China

Question

I have a potential buyer who lives in China. I am in the USA. I am concerned about shipping an electronic sewing machine overseas. The accessories would ship in a separate box. Many places for this item to become lost or damaged. Looking for suggestions to limit potential issues.

@artistyle The sewing machine qualifies for the eBay International Shipping program based on the package weight and dimensions you used in the listing. You can't use two boxes though.

Packages should not exceed:
- 48 inches in length, 84 inches in length and girth
- 44 lbs. in billable weight (not actual weight) for all countries except Canada (maximum billable weight for Canada is 66 lbs.)

YOU are not shipping internationally, eBay is. You are enrolled in the eBay International Shipping Program which allows you to reach buyers around the world with ZERO risk to you.

You just ship to the US forwarding center in Illinois or CA, the address will be on the label when you print it with a code that ties the sale to you and the buyer.

Once the item reaches the US forwarding location safely your job as a seller is done. If a buyer files a refund request for ANY reason the refund comes from eBay and you keep the sale. I wish that eBay had this awesome of seller protections for domestic sales!
