Shipping without using the Ebay label

Question

Am I permitted to ship an item by simply taking it to the PO and getting the label there? I want to ship something WITHOUT using eBay's pre-made shipping label. The robots aren't telling me how. Thanks for any answers you can provide!

You can ship at the Post Office counter, but it will be more expensive than printing an eBay Label.

-- You should add the tracking number that was used when you shipped your item so you have eBay seller protection, and can get paid.

The tracking number will be printed on the receipt (USPS tracking number is usually a 22-digit number)

- Go to the Sold section of My eBay. https://www.ebay.com/mys/sold

- From More actions, select Add tracking number.

- Add, edit or delete the tracking number and the carrier.

- Select Submit.

If you already paid for a label that isn't correct or that you won't use:

Here's how to cancel (or void) an unused shipping label you purchased on eBay:

- Go to Manage shipping labels: https://www.ebay.com/ship/labels/my-ebay

- Find the item you'd like to cancel the shipping label for, then from the Actions column, select CANCEL.

- Choose your reason for canceling the label.

- Select Cancel shipping label.

You have 28 days to cancel a label. The refund will come about 21 days after you cancel.
