Shipping w/ Bats Installed?
I'm trying to find direction in help screens about shipping items w/ AA alkaline batteries ie: a Sony Walkman with 2 AA batteries. Can I ship installed? Should I ship wrapped separately in the same package? Can I ship AA batteries at all?

Mentor2 weeks agoIf they are carbon or alkaline you can, but I still would take them out of the device. Lithium are the batteries that have restrictions and while you can ship them you must follow the specific carrier's requirements for labeling, plus they normally have to use ground shipping only.

Mentor2 weeks agoYes, you can ship the item with those batteries installed. It is only if you want to ship Lithium batteries that you have to ship with special markings on the package.
