Shipping using the USPS First Class Letter option.
Summary: recreateager is asking about using the USPS First Class Letter option for shipping on eBay and whether it provides a tracking number. They also inquire if tracking can be added by paying extra at the post office and if this option complies with a one-day shipping requirement on their account.
When selling,if I use as a shipping service on EBay the USPS First Class Letter option for $.82 will I have the option to print a shipping label that will have a tracking number assigned, and if not how do I track it? DO I have to go to the post office and pay extra to get tracking done? Also can I use this option if I have on my account a one day shipping requirement? Also the EBay AI says there is an option to use eBay standard envelope, but when I look at my listign under shipping, the eBay standard envelope otion is not listed. My package weight is one ounce and I am using a standard business envelope.

Mentor1 month agoYou can only use the ebay Standard Envelope for items that qualify.
The ebay standard envelopes are "read" by the scanners at the sorting machines in the hubs, which is why there are size and thickness requirements. Then they are sent to your local post office for final delivery. That is why they show as DELIVERED several days before actually being delivered to the buyer.
You can try tracking the envelope at any of these sites:

https://parcelsapp.com/en/carriers/easyship
If you have to refund the buyer for an Item Not Delivered case, you can get reimbursed here:

Looking at your active listings, I do not see that your items qualify, so if you decide to select USPS first class shipping, using stamps, there will be no tracking. If the buyer files an Item Not Received case, you will have to refund the item price + shipping. You can send the item using Ground Advantage, but that will most likely incur a charge of around $5 or $6 minimum.
